SPECIALIZED IN THE PROCESSING OF NATURAL CATTLE AND HORSE HAIR

Manufactura de Cerda S.A. is a Paraguayan company specialized in the processing, classification, and commercialization of natural cattle and horse hair for industrial applications. Since 1993, we have supplied natural raw materials and blends with synthetic fibers, complying with demanding technical specifications and ensuring reliable supply for international clients across Europe and the Americas.

The company was founded in 1993 by Horst Waffenschmidt under the corporate name Manufactura de Crines S.R.L., with the objective of supplying the regional industrial market with natural fibers. As operations expanded and international commercial relationships strengthened, the company adopted its current corporate identity — Manufactura de Cerda S.A. — consolidating its position as a supplier for the global industrial sector.

Over more than three decades, the company has developed standardized industrial processing and classification procedures focused on product uniformity, batch traceability, and compliance with the technical requirements demanded by international manufacturing industries.
